NAOKO IBUKI

“Tableware like picture books that accompany daily life”

When you hold a piece of tableware crafted by Naoko Ibuki, you feel a gentle calm wash over your heart. Among her series, the lidded pieces are particularly distinctive. The small figures atop the lids—children or animals—invite us into a world of little stories.

Gaze at the vessel as if turning the pages of a picture book. Lift the lid.

There, a warm, quiet time flows—one we might have experienced somewhere, sometime, or perhaps only dreamed of.
