Kenichi Tōmoto has carved his own path in painting through self-study since childhood.
His style is free and diverse, but among his representative works is a unique technique called “stamping.” His works—portraits celebrating humanity and honoring artists he deeply admires—are rendered through a painstakingly meticulous technique: placing dots one by one with paint loaded onto the tip of a thin tube. These pieces radiate overwhelming concentration and profound respect.
Furthermore, alongside his wife Hiroko, he has shared the joy of drawing with many children through art classes, contributing significantly to nurturing numerous talents.
Furthermore, when speaking of Mr. Tōmoto, the story with his mother, Sisco Tōmoto, is indispensable. By believing in her talent and supporting her devotedly, she later blossomed into the rich world known as “Sisco Paradise.”
The story woven by Mr. Tōmoto, both as an artist and as a mentor, is enveloped in love.
